SAC & SCC UNIVERSITY TRANSFER CENTERS

The Transfer Centers provide information and assistance to students who are preparing to transfer to four-year colleges and universities.  Counselors are available to assist students with meeting required coursework for general education and major selection, as well as admission requirements to their university of choice.

Representatives from universities are available to meet with students individually and provide information about programs, requirements and procedures.  The Center also maintains a variety of resources to assist in your college search, including website listings, college catalogs, and videos for student check-out.  Applications for California State University, University of California and several independent colleges are also available.  In addition, the Center sponsors field trips to selected universities.

GRADUATION

Petitions for graduation should be filed in the Office of Admissions and Records at either Santa Ana College or Santiago Canyon College one semester before the student expects to graduate. Commencement exercises are held once a year at the end of the spring semester for those students who complete the requirements for graduation during the year or the summer session.
