The Peer-Tutorial Program has been created at Centennial Education Center for any student who would like academic assistance (extra help outside of the classroom). One-on-one help is provided by tutors-tutors are student-peers who have demonstrated proficiency in a variety of subjects and languages. Since the program’s inception, it has received over 5,000 requests for tutoring. We are fortunate to have tutors who come from different countries and are bilingual, such as those tutors speaking Spanish, Thai, Khmer, and Vietnamese.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve our students as well as our community. Many of our tutors have been recognized by the community at large. (See Special Recognition)

In addition to providing academic support, the Peer Tutorial Program gives students an opportunity to develop job skills such as those in the educational area. Frequently our tutors have secured jobs in the field of education with the experience gained at CEC (See Special Recognition: Where are Our Tutors Now?).
