Parent Education
The objectives of the Parent Education program
are as follows:
1. To provide a variety of learning opportunities
and instruction for prospective parents regarding the intellectual,
physical and emotional components of the birth process.
2. To teach execise techniques for relaxation,
labor, birth, and the postnatal period.
3. To provide theory, methods, and practical
applications for rearing children.
4. To encourage parents to acquire additional
guidance and decision-making skills that are congruent with
their values, children's developmental and educational needs,
and society's demands.
