The English as a Second Language(ESL) program:

helps non-English or limited English speaking adults survive in an English speaking community.

provides communication skills and cultural knowledge necessary for daily living in an English speaking community.

provides instruction on how to get and keep a job, how to get medical help, and how to understand basic government rules.

prepares the Intermediate 3 students with skills for transfer to college credit.

offers citizenship preparation instruction.

leads to future opportunities by providing a bridge to:

Adult Basic Education
GED
High School Subjects
Vocational training programs
College credit classes
