Valinda Tivenan is a professor of Theatre Arts for the SAC Theatre Arts Department, teaching a variety of technical theatre courses, with a special interest in scenic design. She is also the SAC Technical Director coordinating all design elements for the Fine and Performing Arts events. She received her M.A. in Design from CSU Long Beach in 1983. Some of her design credits at SAC include Hot'l Baltimore, Steel Magnolia's, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown,Confessions of Women from East L.A., and Charlotte's Web. She is also the scenic designer for the SAC Dance concerts.
