Theatre Arts Professor, and current Department Chair, Ms. Donchey has been involved in academic, professional, and community theatre for her entire adult life, working as an instructor, a coach, an actress, a director, and a choreographer.  While at Santa Ana College, she has taught a variety of performance based courses, directed and choreographed countless productions, and has served as the Producing Director for our Professional Actors Conservatory.  She most recently directed this season’s hit Children’s Theatre production of CHARLOTTE’S WEB, THE MUSICAL, as well as last season’s dynamic presentation of Josephina Lopez’s CONFESSIONS OF WOMEN FROM EAST L.A.  Ms. Donchey remains active in professional theatre circuits, has won numerous awards in directing and acting, and is included in Who’s Who in America.
