The Santa Ana College student magazine West17th ranks as one of the top college magazines in America. Winning national honors as Associated Collegiate Press' First Place Best of Show 7 out of 8 years in a row and garnering15 consecutive California State General Excellence awards makes West 17th one of the elite college magazine programs in the nation.

West 17th has won 10 Columbia Gold Medal awards, and received the first ever, College Magazine of the Year title in February of 2000.
