Santa Ana Finishes Second in Host Tournament

SANTA ANA , CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) wrestling team finished in second place at the Santa Ana College Wrestling Tournament. The team finished with 122 points while first place Palomar College scored 144 points.

Tyler Porras (Westmont Campbell HS) was the top finisher for SAC, claiming first place in the 285-pound weight class. He was also named the tournament's most valuable player in the upper-weight class.

Cesar Renteria (Edison HS) finished second in the 133-pound weight class and teammate Jose Serrato (Santa Ana HS) finished second in the 149-pound weight class, and Dylan Sweet (Los Osos HS) took third place in the 165-pound weight class.

SAC edged out Fresno City College who claimed third place with 199 points. Sacramento City College finished in a distant fourth place with 94 points.
