O'Hara Named TheMat.com's Wrestler of the Week

SANTA ANA, CA - On Wednesday, freshman Mike O'Hara was named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for the week of October 25-31 following a pair of victories during the week in California Community College competition.

On Oct. 26, O'Hara won his match at 149 lbs. helping to lead his squad to a team win on the road against Victor Valley College.

On Oct. 29, O'Hara defeated Sinai Pazzat of Fresno City College at the California Community College Wrestling North-South All Star Dual Meet held on the campus of Fresno State University.

O'Hara, who is now 22-0, is currently the top-ranked wrestler at 149 in the latest California Community College wrestling poll.

Each Wednesday during the wrestling season, TheMat.com selects a Wrestler of the Week, based upon performances the week prior. The selection committee considers any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the senior level.
