Santa Ana Captures Third Tournament Title
SARATOGA, CA - Jose Hernandez and Mike O'Hara each captured individual titles at 125 and 149, respectively, while leading Santa Ana College to its third consecutive tournament title at the West Valley College Invitational, Saturday. The Dons, who scored a tournament-high 109.5 points, edged South Coast Conference-rival Cerritos College for the tournament title.
The Falcons finished second with 102 points followed by Bakersfield College who was third with 89.5 while Sierra College and Fresno City College tied for fourth place with 77.5 points.
The Dons had a pair of second-place finishes as Steve Schantin and Brian Judd claimed runner-up honors at 141 and 184, respectively.
Other top finishes included Rudy Justo who was third at 133, Tom Eaton who was fourth at 174 and Sabas Cruz who was sixth at 157
