Dons Defeat Victor Valley 38-0

SANTA ANA , CA – Santa Ana College 's (SAC) wrestling team defeated Victory Valley College Wednesday night 38-0. Victor Valley only brought four wrestlers to compete against the defending state champions and was swept with two victories coming by pins.

Ivan Sanchez (Santiago HS) defeated Carl Riding when he pinned him at 3:23, Sanchez was leading the match 13-3 at the time of the pin. Jose Serrato (Santa Ana HS) picked up another win for the Dons when he defeated Nick Aguilera 21-5. In the third match, Devin Velasquez (Tascosa HS, TX) pinned Jose Chacon at 2:17 and Tom Eaton (Jefferson HS, IA) picked up the final victory over Charelton Thayn 10-3.
