Dons Finish Fourth in the OEC Championships
COSTA MESA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women’s cross country team placed 4th with 91 points at the 2008 Orange Empire Conference Championships held at Fairview Park.
Diana Zapata led the way for the Dons with a third place finish in a time of 19:11. She was followed by Zoila Garcia who finished 21st overall in a time of 21:01 and Belen Cervantes who came in 32nd place (21:44).
Other finishers for SAC include Michelle Valenzuela in 40th place (22:19), Maria Ramirez in 45th place (23:13) and Lilian Avila in 51st place (24:05). Virginia Urbina (53rd place, 24:24), Araceli Valerio (55th place, 25:47) and Lucia Ordaz (57th place, 26:52) rounded out the Dons runners.
