Zobeida Lopez Leads Dons to Sixth Place at Brubaker

ORANGE, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's cross country team finished in 6th place out of 11 teams with 169 points at the Brubaker Invitational held at Irvine Regional Park.

The host Dons were led by Zobeida Lopez who finished 22nd in the points with a time of 21:00. Brenda Moron (21:16) and Karla Perez (21:17) followed closely finishing 25th adn 26th in the points respectively.

Saira Perez was the next Don runner to cross the finish line finishing in 45th place with a time of 23:08 followed by Araceli Valerio who finished in 51st place with a time of 24:17.

Yadira Damacio (61st, 25:48) was the final runner to finish for the Dons in the event.

Mt. San Antonio College took first place in the event with all five of its scoring runners finishing in the top ten including overall winner Lenore Moreno with a time of 18:29.
