Dons Reach Championship Game; Lose to Riverside

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA
- The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's water polo team lost to Riverside College 11-6 in the final game of the 2007 Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Water Polo Championships at Golden West College.

With the loss, the Dons finish second in conference with a 7-2 record behind the undefeated Tigers. SAC's overall record is currently 22-9. Sophomore Jenna Natalizio (Irvine HS) led the Dons with four goals, while Sara Van Horne (Katella HS) and Alex Farraro (Northwood HS) each chipped in with one goal.

In earlier matches, SAC defeated Cypress College 18-3 and Golden West College 13-9 to advance to the championship game. Natalizio finished with five goals against the Chargers and nine goals against the Rustlers to record a total of 19 goals for the tournament.
