SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's water polo team defeated visiting Fullerton College 14-8 Wednesday afternoon in an Orange Empire Conference match at the SAC Pool.
Sophomore Jenna Natalizio (Irvine HS) led the Dons (12-5, 2-1 OEC) with six goals followed by sophomore Sara Van Horne (Katella HS) who chipped in with five goals. Sophomore Bianca Kibby (Valencia HS) finished with 15 saves in goal for SAC
With the score tied at 4-4 after the first quarter, the Dons went on a 5-0 run to take a 9-4 lead into halftime. SAC held the Hornets to four goals for the remainder of the contest to gain the victory.
