Santa Ana Ranked Ninth in the State in Preseason Poll

SANTA ANA, CA - Santa Ana is one of five Orange Empire Conference teams to be in the pre-season top ten poll, taking the number nine spot with 48 votes. This is the first time the Dons have ever been ranked in the top ten.

The Dons are expected to have a solid season despite competing in the OEC, thought to be one of the toughest conferences in the state. Head coach John Wright is in his second year as the head coach and looks to keep improving the program with each passing year.

All SoCal choice Daisy Ruiz and All-OEC pick Jessica Sanchez are back to anchor the offense and All-CIF freshmen Jenna Natalizo and Sara Van Horne make the Dons an immediate playoff threat.
