Santa Ana Loses to Fullerton in Three Straight Games

SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's volleyball team lost to Fullerton College in three straight games in an Orange Empire Conference match. The game scores were 30-20, 30-15 and 30-21.

The Dons jumped out to an early 8-5 lead and held the lead up to a 12-12 tie. Fullerton scored the next two points to take a 14-12 lead. The Hornets held the lead for the remainder of the game and went on to win 30-20.

Neither team took control of the game early in the second game with the teams battling up to a 10-10 tie. Fullerton broke the tie with a 3-0 run to take the lead for good at 13-10 before going on to win the game 30-15.

The third game remained close throughout with Fullerton holding a lead of 18-15. The Hornets slowly pulled away and won the game, and the match, by a final score of 30-21.
