SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's volleyball team lost in three straight games to visiting Irvine Valley College (IVC) in the first Orange Empire Conference match.
The Dons lost the first two games by identical 30-13 scores. SAC fell behind early in both games and was unable to recover. Despite falling behind early in the third game, the Dons battled back and were able to get within one point at 14-13. However, the Lasers slowly pulled away and went on to win the third game by a score of 30-23.
The loss drops the Dons to 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play while IVC remains undefeated at 8-0 with a 1-0 mark in conference.
