Flores Takes First Place in Meet with Orange Coast
SANT ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's track & field team lost to visiting Orange Coast College in an Orange Empire Conference meet.
Jessica Flores was the lone Don to take first place as she won the hammer throw with a distance of 116'6". Christina Adams came in second behind Flores with a distance of 112'.
Flores also took second in the shot put and discus and third in the javelin while Adams took fourth in the shot put, third in the discus and fifth in the javelin.
On the track the Dons were led by Diana Zapata who finished in second place in the 800M and 1500M runs.
