Dons Fall to Riverside and Santiago Canyon at Home
SANT ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's track & field team lost to visiting Santiago Canyon College and Riverside College in an Orange Empire Conference meet. The Dons lost to SCC 86-56 and lost to RCC 126-21.
The Dons received solid performances from several athletes including Diana Zapata and Zoila Garcia who finished first and second in the 1500M run. Garcia also turned in a third place finish in the 3000M run.
Jessica Flores had the best finish for SAC on the field with a first place finish in the shot put while also finishing second in the hammer throw.
