Dons Finish Fifth in OEC Relays at Orange Coast
COSTA MESA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's track & field team finished in fifth place at the Orange Empire Conference Relays held at Orange Coast College on Friday.
The Dons were led by Jessica Flores who finished second overall in the hammer throw, third overall in the shot put, fifth in the discus and ninth in the javelin. Christina Adams was another top performer for SAC with a fourth place finish in the hammer, an eighth place finish in the javelin and a tenth place finish in the shot put.
On the track, the Dons team of Araceli Valerio, Zoila Garcia, Diana Zapata and Michelle Valenzuela claimed fifth place in the 4x800M relay and sixth place in the 4x1600M relay.
Riverside College claimed the top spot overall as a team followed by host Orange Coast College in second with Fullerton College taking third place. |
