MISSION VIEJO, CA - The Santa Ana College women's track & field team scored 136 points and tied Fullerton College for second place at the Orange Empire Conference Track & Field Championships, Saturday. Orange Coast College won the meet with 248.3 points followed by Santa Ana and Fullerton.

Elle Cruikshank
led the Dons by winning her second consecutive OEC heptathlon title (4,173, school record), the 100 hurdles (15.85) and 400 hurdles (1;04.33). She was also a member of the Dons' 4x100 relay team that captured the conference crown in a time of 50.2 and a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished second (4:24.10). Cruikshank rounded out the meet with a fourth- and sixth-place finish in the javelin (110' 10") and high jump (4' 8"), respectively.

Jeymie Gonzalez was the Dons only other event champion when she captured the hammer throw with a toss of 123-9 outdistancing Fullerton's Viridiana Villanueva.
