Dons Win 13 Events in 175-71 Victory over Fullerton
SANTA ANA , CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's swimming team defeated Fullerton College 175-71 in an Orange Empire Conference swim meet.
The Dons won 13 of the 15 events in the meet with Jenna Natalizio (Irvine HS) and Kaylen Hewko (Rosary HS) winning three events apiece. Bianca Kibby (Valencia HS) and Karli Nihei (Fountain Valley HS) each won two events apiece.
Natalizio picked up wins in the 100M back stroke (1:04.95), the 50M back stroke (29.95) and the 100IM (1:08.91). Hewko's victories came in the 200IM (2:14.95), the 100M fly (1:00.25) and the 500M free (5:21.25).
Kibby picked up wins in the 50M free (25:85) and the 100M free (58:65) while Nihei won the 100M breast stroke (1:14.65) and the 50M breast stroke (34:35).
Other first place finishers for the Dons include Stephanie Sasaki (Valencia HS) who won the 50M fly (29:45) and the relay team that won the 200MR and the 200FR. |
