Jodi Coffman
Head Coach, 8th year

Jodi Coffman returns for her eighth year as head coach of the women's soccer program at Santa Ana College . In her first seven years, Coffman has led the Santa Ana women's soccer team to a 69-66-16 overall record. In her short tenure, she's had 27 all-conference players, one conference player of the year (Ana Velasquez, 2000), and was named Orange Empire Conference Coach of the Year following the 2000 season.

Coffman played soccer at UC Santa Barbara and later semi-professional soccer for the San Diego Wave. She graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 1988 before earning a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in coaching from UC Santa Barbara, a master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in sport psychology from San Diego State, and a master's degree in counseling and doctoral degree in education leadership from the University of San Diego.

Prior to coaching at Santa Ana, Coffman coached at the University of San Diego for two seasons and San Diego City College for three years. In 1999, she was named the Pacific Coast Conference Coach of the Year.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Coffman serves as an associate professor in the exercise science, health and athletics department.

Coffman was a finalist for the 2006 Distinguished Faculty of the Year award, the highest honor provided to faculty members at Santa Ana College.
