SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's soccer team lost to visiting Cypress College 2-0 in the Dons final home game of the season. The Dons (12-6-1, 8-6-1) wrap up their season on Tuesday at Irvine Valley College.
Cypress (15-2-2, 10-2-2) scored both of its goals in the first half with the first goal coming in the 14th minute. Elizabeth Ledezma hauled in a rebound and shot on an empty net for the goal.
The Chargers second goal came on a set play just outside of the box when Amanda LoBello fed Casey Kiehl who scored on an uncontested shot.
The Dons had several scoring opportunities in the second half but were unable to convert. Cortnee Kleidon started the game in goal for the Dons and she made four saves while allowing two goals. Karla Mandujano replaced Kleidon late in the game and made two saves on the only shots she faced.
