SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's soccer team defeated East Los Angeles College 1-0 for its second-straight shutout win. The Dons improve to 2-0 with the win while East Los Angeles falls to 0-3.
The Dons lone goal of the game came in the 32nd minute when Reyna Fonseca's touch pass allowed Aeidi Montiel to break free from the defense and beat the Huskies goalkeeper one-on-one.
Cortnee Kleidon has yet to allow a goal this season as she turned away nine shots in the game. Silvia Carrera also made nine saves in the game for ELAC but allowed the only goal to suffer the loss.
