SANTA ANA, CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's soccer team tied visiting Saddleback College in an Orange Empire Conference match.
Daisy Ramos (Loara HS) scored the lone goal for the Dons (7-7-4, 6-3-4) on a penalty kick in the 44th minute. Saddleback tied the game in the 73rd minute and neither team was able to score again.
Alexiz Villanueva (Katella HS) made three saves in the game and allowed one goal. The tie keeps the Dons one point out of third place behind Saddleback and Fullerton, who SAC plays next Tuesday.
