CHINO HILLS, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's golf team finished with a two-day total team round of 720 to take third place at the 2007 Orange Empire Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon at the Los Serranos Golf Club.
Freshman Christi Whittemore shot a 170 (87-83) to lead the Dons, followed by freshman Sam Shade at 172 (83-89). Shade and Whittemore were named to the all-Orange Empire Conference team and will represent SAC at the Southern California Regional Championships on Nov. 4-5 at the Alisol Ranch River Course in Solvang, CA.
Other scores for the Dons included Adriana Murillo at 186 (92-94), Linda Shade (103-95) and Becky Flores (97-101) at 198, and Alicia Badosa at 199 (98-101). |
