Shade Shoots Season Low of 78 at Oak Creek

IRVINE, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's golf team shot a team score of 362 in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match hosted by Irvine Valley College (IVC) held Monday afternoon at Oak Creek.

Freshman Sam Shade (Canyon HS) finished with an impressive round of 78 to lead the Dons. Freshman Christi Whittemore finished with a 92, followed by freshman Adriana Murillo (Western HS) at 93 and freshman Alicia Badosa (Katella HS) at 99. Other scores for SAC included freshmen Linda Shade and Becky Flores (Western HS) with a 103. The top-four cards from each squad are used to calculate the final score.

Santiago Canyon College took first place honors with a team score of 325 led by medalist Courtney Solomonson who finished with a 77. Other team scores included Saddleback College at 338 and IVC at 344.
