Badosa Shoots Team Low 91 at Oak Creek

IRVINE, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's golf team shot a team score of 386 in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match Monday afternoon at Oak Creek Golf Course.

Freshman Alicia Badosa (Katella HS) shot a round of 91 to lead the Dons. Freshman Sam Shade (Canyon HS) finished with a 94, followed by freshman Christi Whittemore with a 100 and freshman Adriana Murillo (Western HS) with a 101. Other scores for SAC included freshman Linda Shade with a 105 and freshman Becky Flores (Western HS) with a 120. The top-four cards from each team are used to calculate the final score.

Saddleback College finished in first place with a team score of 324 led by medalist Lana Cox who finished with a 75. Other team scores included Santiago Canyon 342 and Irvine Valley College at 343.
