RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's golf team shot a team score of 404 in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match Monday afternoon at the Tijeras Creek Golf Course.
Freshman Sam Shade (Canyon HS) led the Dons with a 97. Freshman Adriana Murillo finished (Western HS) with a 100, while freshman Alicia Badosa (Katella HS) shot a 103 and freshman Christi Whittemore shot a 104. Other scores for SAC included Becky Flores (Western HS) with a 112 and Linda Shade with a 106. The top-four cards from each team are used to calculate the final score.
Other team scores included Santiago Canyon at 329, Saddleback at 346 and Irvine Valley at 353. SCC's Esther Lee earned medalist honors as she finished with a 77. |
