SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) women's basketball team defeated visiting San Diego Mesa College 86-53 in the Dons first home game of the season.
Jamie Glover (Villa Park HS) opened the game with a three-point basket and the Dons (6-2) held the lead for the remainder of the game. SAC went on to a 42-29 lead at half time over Mesa (0-7).
The Dons were led offensively by Glover who scored 20 points in the victory. She was followed by Linda Lomeli (Saddleback HS) who added another 15 points and a game high 16 rebounds.
