Badminton Picks up First Win
SANTA ANA , CA – The Santa Ana College women's badminton team picked up their first win of the season at home Friday afternoon defeating Grossmont College, 13-8. The doubles team of Anh Thi Thu Ho and Barbara Jo Argent won both of their matches earning four points for the Dons.
Victoria Nguyen won her singles match against Grossmont's No. 3 Betty Hsu 3-11, 11-9 and 11-1 to tie the match at 2-2. Santa Ana (1-3) never trailed again and eventually won by five.
Santa Ana's next match will be at Orange Coast College on Friday,
March 18 at 3:30 p.m. |
