Santa Ana's Comeback Not Enough in Loss

WALNUT, CA
– The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's water polo team fell behind early to Riverside Community College (RCC) in an Orange Empire Conference game on Wednesday and weren't able to mount a full comeback.

After the Tigers took an early 6-2 lead after the first quarter, the Dons stormed back in the second quarter to tie the game at 8-8 going into half time.

RCC took the lead back after three quarters at 13-12 and never looked back as they defeated SAC 15-13. Christian Colchado and Josh Garcia led the way for the Dons with three goals apiece. The loss drops SAC to 7-14 overall with a 1-4 conference record.
