Gleason Sets SAC Record in Hammer Throw at 164'6"
SANTA ANA, CA - Freshman Ryan Gleason (Los Amigos HS) set the Santa Ana College (SAC) record in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 164 feet, six inches in an Orange Empire Conference dual meet against Riverside Community College.
He broke the record held previously by Jason Carpenter who threw for 162 feet, four inches in 2001. Gleason also took second place in the discuss (139-8) and shot puts (44-6.25) events to lead the SAC men's track and field team. |
