Santa Ana Wins Seven Events against El Camino
SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's track & field team had seven first place finishes against El Camino College in a non-conference track & field meet. However, it wasn't enough as the Dons fell to El Camino 83-54.
Matt Carter finished first in the 200M dash (21.64), high jump (7'.5") and the long jump. He also finished second in the javelin throw (126'9"). Jason McCalope claimed the top spot in the 400M dash (55.45) to go along with a fifth place finish in the 200M dash (23.50).
Joshua Brown came in second place in the 100M dash (10.86) and third in the 200M dash (23.43). Jersain Torres won the 3000M run (9:06.1) edging out teammate Corey Brown (9:12.7) who took second.
Ryan Gleason won both the discus throw (134'3") and the hammer throw (152'3") while taking fourth in the shot put (42'4"). |
