Dons Get Strong Performances against Fullerton
SANTA ANA, CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's swimming team lost to visiting Fullerton College 108-77 in an Orange Empire Conference swim meet.
The Dons top finisher in the meet was Kent Campos (Tustin HS) who took first place in the 200 freestyle (2:05.84). The 400 freestyle relay team of Paden Mitchell (Villa Park HS), Alejandro Aguilera (Saddleback HS), Mario Ruiz (Mater Dei HS) and Campos also took first place (3:49.59)
Dalton Best (Villa Park HS) took second in the 100 freestyle (57.15) followed by Aguilera in third place (57.20). Abraham Yanez (Saddleback HS) claimed second place in the 1000 freestyle (13:00.54) while Mitchell placed second in the 50 freestyle (24.92) and the 500 freestyle (5:27.39).
Other top finishes include Ruiz (2nd place, 200 medley), Juan Gutierrez (2nd place, 200 back stroke) and Peter Valdez (2nd place, 200 breast stroke). |
