SANTA ANA, CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's soccer team defeated Santiago Canyon College (SCC) 2-1 in an Orange Empire Conference match.
Alex Moreno (Saddleback HS) scored both goals for the Dons. He scored the first goal three minutes into the second half on a rebound from his own shot, the second was on a rebound from a shot by Miguel Cucue (Santa Ana HS)
SCC scored in the 74th minute to pull the Hawks within one but Julian Hernandez (Bolsa Grande HS) shutout the Hawks for the remaining 20 minutes to preserve the win. He finished with seven saves in the game.
