Santa Ana Dominates Second Half for 6-0 Win

SANTA ANA, CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's soccer team defeated Cypress College 6-0 in an Orange Empire Conference match at home. The Dons scored five goals in the second half in their first game since October 19.

Juan Carlos Agripino scored the only goal in the first half on an assist by Ramon Quintana (Valencia HS). Agripino then assisted the next two goals, both scored by Sergio Arrias in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

The Dons scored their final three goals in the last 15 minutes of the game. Robert Lopez (Fullerton Union HS), Rafael Garza (Anaheim HS) and Ramses Munoz (Tustin HS) all scored on assists by Miguel Palacios (El Modena HS), Lopez and Francisco Fierro (Loara HS).

Enrique Romero (Los Amigos HS) started the game at goalkeeper for SAC making four saves in 70 minutes. Julian Hernandez (Bolsa Grande HS) preserved the shut out in the last 20 minutes without facing a single shot.
