SANTA ANA, CA – The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's soccer team defeated Fullerton College 1-0 in the first Orange Empire Conference game of the season. The victory improves the Dons to 6-3-1 on the season and 1-0 in OEC while Fullerton falls to 5-2-2 and 0-1 in conference play.
The Dons only goal came in the 53rd minute when Antonio Hernandez sent a pass in front of the Fullerton goal to Sergio Arrias. Arrias took a quick shot and beat the goalkeeper.
Julian Hernandez (Bolsa Grande HS) played the entire game to earn the shut out. He made three saves in the victory.
