Emerson Wood Finishes 53rd at SoCal Regionals
LOMPOC, CA - Emerson Wood finished tied for 53rd place out of 76 golfers in the 2009 Southern California Community College Regional Finals held at Marshallia Ranch Golf Course.
Wood shot a five-over 77 in the morning followed by a 12-over 84 in the afternoon as the lone representative for SAC. Only two golfers finished under par in the tournament.
Andrew Perez of Santa Barbara City College was the overall winner as he shot a three-under 141 finishing two strokes ahead of Blake Humphrey of Palomar College who shot a one-under 143.
