Dons Get Two Wins in Home Match at Los Serranos
CHINO HILLS, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's golf team defeated Irvine Valley College and Riverside College but lost to Palomar College in an Orange Empire Conference golf match at Los Serranos Country Club.
The Dons finished their round with a round of 374 while Palomar shot a 371, Irivine Valley shot a 374 and Riverside shot a 407. SAC won the tie-breaker over Irvine Valley based on the two team's sixth card. The Dons' sixth card was an 81 while the Lasers' sixth card was an 82.
Daren Johnson was the medalist as he shot a two-under 70 for SAC. The Dons other scores were a 73 by Florencio Anadon, a 73 by Trevor Jones, a 78 by Garrett True, an 80 by David Piraino and the tie-breaking score of 81 by James Ybarra. |
