Santa Ana Lands Playoff Berth

SANTA ANA , CA -
On Wednesday, February 23, the Santa Ana College men's basketball team will be making its first playoff appearance in four years when the 17th-seeded Dons (12-13, 8-6) travel to Riverside Community College to face the 16th-seeded Tigers (14-15, 9-5) in a play-in game of the Southern California Men's Basketball Regionals. Game time is set for
7:30 p.m.

The winner of Wednesday's play-in game will face top-seeded San Bernardino Valley College (23-4, 13-1) on Saturday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m. in a regional semifinal game. The Wolverines earned the top seed by winning the Foothill Conference title with a 13-1 record.

Orange Empire Conference-champion Saddleback College (24-2, 13-1) earned the region's second seed and will host the winner of 15th-seeded Southwestern (19-8) and 18th-seeded Los Angeles Harbor (15-13) on Saturday, February 26 in the regional semifinals.

Los Angeles City College (26-3) and Mt. San Antonio College (21-5) grabbed the region's third- and fourth-seed, respectively.
