FULLERTON, CA -
Santa Ana College's hopes of making the playoffs still flicker thanks to its 76-73 win over Fullerton College, in the regular-season finale for both teams. With the win, the Dons (12-13, 8-6) captured third place in the Orange Empire Conference while the Hornets (14-14, 6-8) fell into a three-way tie for fourth with Irvine Valley College and Orange Coast.
Jenkins
Darrell Jenkins and Terrence Hundley pace the Dons with 17 points apiece. Nedim Pajevic was also in double figures with 10 followed by Jesus Miranda and Robert Reynaga with nine and eight points, respectively.

Jenkins and Hundley combined to make 11

The Dons overcame a seven-point deficit,
69-62, with 2:37 remaining by outscoring the host-Hornets, 14-4. Jenkins scored six of his team-high 17 points in the final 71 seconds. His two free throws with two second remaining gave Santa Ana the win and the hope of making the post-season tournament for the first time in four years.

Fullerton was led by Bryce Sheldon who scored a game-high 26 in the loss. Chris Williams added 17 followed by Michael Earl with 14 and Nick Buckley, 10. Sheldon was 9-of-17 from floor and finished with six three-pointers. Earl also had a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with his 14 points.
