Santa Ana Knocks Off Irvine Valley, 55-52
IRVINE, CA - Santa Ana College won its second game in a row, a 55-52 decision over Irvine Vallley College, Wednesday, to remain in third place in Orange Empire Conference men's basketball standings. The Dons improve to 11-11 overall and 7-4 in the OEC with the win while the Lasers fall to 12-11 overall and 4-7 in the league.

For second time in as many outings, Terrence Hundley led Santa Ana in scoring with a game-high 15. Nedim Pajevic added 14 points and grabbed five rebounds in the win. Hundley and Pajevic were near perfect on the night combine on 12-of-15 from the field including 4-of-5 from beyond the three-point arc.
Hundley finished the game 6-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from three-point range while Pajevic was 6-of-7 from the floor and made his only three-pointer.
Robert Reynaga and Darrell Jenkins added nine and seven points, respectively.
As a team the Dons shot 55.3 percent from the field (21-of-38) and 50 percent from three-point range (8-of-16). The Dons struggled at the free throw line making just 5-of-10 charity attempts.
Manny Maceira led Irvine Valley with 11 points followed by Imani Mackie who finished with 10 points and a team-high five rebounds. The Lasers shot 44.7 percent from the field (21-of-47) and 66.7 percent from the free throw line (6-of-9) in loss.
