Dons Snap Two-Game Losing Skid

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA -
Terrence Hundley scored a game-high 23 as visiting Santa Ana College snapped a two-game losing streak with a 64-55 win over Golden West College in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) men's basketball action, Friday. Hundley connected on 8-of-17 shots from the field including 3-of-7 from three-point range and was perfect at the line making all four of his attempts. He also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out three assists.

Robert Reynaga added nine followed by Justin Williams who finished with eight as the Dons improved to 10-11 overall and 6-4 in the OEC. Nedim Pajevic tossed in six and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for Santa Ana.

Jontae Vinson and Tim Taylor each scored 17 for Golden West who dropped to 7-15 overall and 3-7 in the league with the loss. Vinson also finished with a game-high nine rebounds.

The Dons built a nine-point advantage at intermission, 31-22, and never looked back. Santa Ana made 40 percent of its field goals (21-of-52) while holding the Rustlers to just 36 percent shooting (20-of-55). The Dons also held slight advantage on the boards outrebounding Golden West, 39-36.
