SAC Loses Third Game in a Row; Lose to Fullerton
SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) men's basketball team lost to visiting Fullerton College (FCC) 101-68 in an Orange Empire Conference basketball game. The loss drops the Dons to 9-13 overall and 1-4 in conference while the Hornets improve to 17-5 overall and 4-1 in conference.
The two teams battled to a 10-10 tie seven minutes into the first half before FCC went on a 9-0 run to extend its lead to 19-10. The Hornets continued to pull away from there, entering the half with a 58-35 lead.
The Dons were unable to overcome the large half time deficit and eventually lost 101-68. SAC was led offensively by Raymont Jennings (Cabrillo HS) and Cartier Carter (Vista Del Lago HS) added 12 points in the loss.
