SANTA ANA, CA -
Santa Ana College (SAC) won it its first home game of the season with a 78-65 victory over visiting Santa Monica College (SMC) in a non-conference basketball game on Wednesday. The Dons continued their winning ways as their record improved to 6-2 with the victory.

SAC, who held a 26-10 lead with just over five minutes left in the game, went into halftime with a 32-24 lead over the Corsairs. The Dons jumped out to a 15-point lead just eight minutes into the second half, however SMC continued to fight back into contention, cutting the lead to just eight with five minutes left in the game.
