Santa Ana Hosts "2007 Firemen's Charity Game"
SANTA ANA , CA – The Santa Ana College football team will host Pasadena City College this Saturday, November 17 th at 7:30 p.m. in the 2007 Firefighter's Charity Game held in conjunction with the Santa Ana Firemen's Benevolent Association. The game will be played in honor of the firefighters who have dedicated their lives and service during the wildfires.
Attendees can make donations to the Firefighter Relief Fund to aid injured firefighters and their families. Commemorative t-shirts will be sold with the proceeds going to the relief fund as well. Firefighters and their families will be admitted into the game for free.
The game, originally scheduled for October 27 th , was one of several athletic events cancelled at Santa Ana College and across Orange County due to the poor air quality caused by the wildfires in southern California . |
