TULSA, OK - The former Dons tight end has signed a letter-of-intent to play at the University of Tulsa in the upcoming season. Roupoli will be playing for Hurricane head coach Steve Kragthorpe. The University of Tulsa plays in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) which includes conference opponents Boise State University and the University of Texas El-Paso (UTEP).
In his two seasons at Santa Ana College , Roupoli caught 35 passes for 469 yards and three touchdowns. Last season he caught 29 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Aaron earned second-team all-conference honors and was team captain in his final season, and earned the Coaches Award for offense from head coach Geoff Jones.
In high school, Roupoli was a two-time letterwinner at Mater Dei. He started at offensive tackle as a senior and also played defensive end. In his senior year he led the Monarchs to a 10-4 record and to the CIF Division I finals.
